Applied Optical Technologies plc, the supplier of anti-counterfeiting technologies and services, today announces that, following receipt of confirmation from the registrar of Companies, the Company's name has been changed from Applied Optical Technologies plc to OpSec Security Group plc with immediate effect.

The London Stock Exchange ticker code for the Company will change to OSG.
